I am painfully fascinated with trying to make portraits outside. This collection of humans is a way for me to explore the limits of my photographic process, stay outside as much as possible and connect with folks that I admire. These are my attempts to visually communicate what I am perceiving, that these subjects metaphysically belong in these environments. I am close with many of these subjects and when I think of them, I think of them in these landscapes. I wanted to show how they simply and seamlessly blend in with their habitat. My approach and fascination with this subject matter comes from a place of extreme jealousy and reverence.
