Averie Wilson is one of those people. She taught herself mechanics, and everything else about restoring vintage cars, by working for free because none of the men she asked would teach her. Her interest in mechanics and automobile restoration started when she was only 12 years old. Through the years, she has become the go-to person if you need a vintage paint color matched on any automobile anywhere in the country (and beyond). She accomplished that, and more, wearing a full face of makeup every day to the shop.
