I am a New York City-based photographer trained in traditional analog photography. In 1980 at the age of nineteen, I started my journey in photography, shooting with large format cameras and film for a studio on Madison Ave in New York City. In the mid-1990s, I opened my studio in Soho with my wife, Janet. At that time, the industry was switching to digital, and I embraced the freedom and creativity a digital workflow offers. Today, along with my studio, print, and audio work, I am concentrating on personal landscape, avian, and urban exploration themes. Because of the need to recognize the importance of our environment more than ever, the natural world is seen throughout my personal work.
