It was summer.  It was hot.  It was outdoors with a bit of a breeze.  It was a noisy chaotic event.  

I wanted to create a series of studio like black and white portraits of my friends who were members of the Art Directors Club of Philadelphia. I set up an outdoor studio and prayed that the wind would not knock my efforts astray.  I hoped that people would overcome their usual shyness as set onto my set.  I need not have worried.
